FRI 25 JUL 4:15 PM William's Game... What a nice game to end the season. Williams steps up for the final chance this season to be the first male quater-millionaire. The banker provided quite low offers throughout the game but William played on. After the loss of the quater of a million William decided to throw in the towel and deal. The Banker then cruely offered the Banker's Gamble where William could re-join live play with £35,000 and £50 remaining. William declined the Banker's offer and it turned out to be a very smart move.
THU 24 JUL 4:15 PM Helen's Game... The summer specials continue and the heat is on Helen as she doesn't get off to a great start, but she slowly turns things around and when she reveals SUNSHINE in the suitcase at the 5-box stage, the tables start to turn. Helen gets off to a great start in the final round, and with the Banker forced to give an offer after each box, he pitches his first one at £16,200, which proves enough for Helen as she snaps it up. It proves a great move as the following boxes would have given offers of £8,100 and £12,000.
WED 23 JUL 4:15 PM Adam's Game... A solid start for Adam today, before he goes on a rollercoaster of a game with good and bad rounds. At the 5-box stage Adam picks the Sunburn box and this allows the Banker to see his box contents! With an offer of £10,000 Adam decides not to risk things and takes the deal. The proveout round doesn't go perfectly and sets up the Banker to offer his Banker's Gamble, where Adam can hand back his £10,000 and enter live play again. Adam declines this, but it proves an unwise move.
TUE 22 JUL 4:15 PM Em's Game... Another fantastic game for the Summer Specials week. Em had a fantastic start to the game with picking out mostly blues and the reds that were picked were relatively low. With the highest offer in the game and the Banker knowing the contents of Em's box Em decided to deal. It turned out to be one deal too early but the game was a victory in the end.
MON 21 JUL 4:15 PM Derek's Game... Wow, what a game... Derek had played one of the best games shown recently. After a very rocky start it was turned around and the offers slowly increased. Derek played tha game like a true gambler to the end and when the box swap was offered Derek took the swap.
SAT 19 JUL 4:00 PM Paul's Game... A real rollercoaster of a game for Paul today, but he shows a determind side as he quickly dismisses all the early offers and advice with great haste! After pulling off a brave gamble in the final round he calls it a day and walks away with his peak offer of the game.
FRI 18 JUL 4:15 PM Del's Game... A terrible start for Del in what looks like a to be another of those unlucky games. Del however remains focused and shows his gambling side to stay in the game and produces an incredibly tense game that sees him well rewarded.
THU 17 JUL 4:15 PM Christine's Game... A horrible start for Christine which takes a couple rounds to improve on. When things do improve the Banker decides not to offer money at the end of the 3rd round, but make a dream offer of 5 nights at the Disneyland Hong Kong theme park. Christine declines this and then receives another dream off in the following round of 5 nights in Hong Kong, 5 nights in Tokyo, 4 day fast track pass in each resort, a guided tour with a personal guide, dinner in each resort with the characters and £1,000 of spending money. Again Christine declines this and eventually plays to the end, where her final offer is a Mickey Mouse watch!
WED 16 JUL 4:15 PM Reg's Game... DoND's oldest contestant Reg steps up for the challenge today, and provides a feelgood game. He has a rollercoaster of a game, but remains positive throughout and gives Noel some good banter. When things are looking shakey at the end, Reg shows the courage to play on and ultimately deals at the perfect time for a great Banker spanking.
TUE 15 JUL 4:15 PM Chris's Game... A horrendous start for Chris wiping out the top of the board! The following rounds don't really improve and this makes it easy for the Banker to pitch low offers all through the game. Chris does however remain cheerful and upbeat throughout, and the Banker does show some compassion in the final round by making a surprising move of making an offer after every box! He offers £1,600, £2,600 and £5,000 respectively, and Chris bravely declines all of these. Her courage is rewarded when Noel reveals the £15,000 sitting in her box, and provides a fantastic finish to what started as an unlucky game.
Season 2
FRI 13 JUL 4:15 PMAsim's Game... It's the last game of the current series today. Hopefully being Friday 13th doesn't produce bad luck for Asim. A good opening round gets the game going well, and receives an offer of £9,000. Another good round sees the offer increase to £12,500, but Asim plays on. Things tick along for the next couple of rounds, but it doesn't hold the nose levels back from Asim! A great 5th round receives an offer of £31,000, which Asim reveals will fulfill a lot of his dreams and produces a DEAL. The proveout round shows it was a wise decision. The show now takes a break for a month and returns on 13th August, enjoy the break and we will return for series 3.
THU 12 JUL 4:15 PMCarol's Game... The penultimate game before the summer season, and will this weeks rollercoaster ride continue? Carol provides a game that in Noel's words, goes off the smutometer!! A bad start is soon turned around with an all blue second round, and a nice offer of £11,200. Carol ploughs on, and hits the top 2 amounts in the following 2 rounds! This forces the offers to plummet, and Carol decides to play all the way to end, and her bravery is duly rewarded.
WED 11 JUL 4:15 PMGavin's Game... In a rollercoaster week so far, will today continue that trend? Gavin starts off with an average round, and receives an average offer of £8,500. A mid-red going in the next round sees a slight increase in the offer to £12,500, and Gavin plays on. Things soon head downhill though and the offers fall to £4,400. Gavin manages to get this up to £5,999, which proves enough for him to bail out of the game for. It proves a wise move in the end.
TUE 10 JUL 4:15 PMLynn's Game... A week of hall of fame entries so far, will today produce more of the same? A shakey start is followed by an all blue round, and the offers start to rise nicely. When the offer reaches £17,500, it gives Lynn something to think about, but she decides to go on. A setback in the next round when the £250,000 goes, is soon turned around in the following round, when the offer goes back to £17,499. Lynn then shocks everyone with a brave decision to play on! This is rewarded with a prefect final round, and Lynn goes home with £50,000.
MON 9 JUL 4:15 PMIgor's Game... Can the last week before the summer break continue with another big win? Igor steps up for the challenge today, and struggles his whole game to choose his boxes! He gets off to a horrible start, but The Banker goes easy on him and offers £6,001, but Igor plays on. Things continue to go bad for Igor, and the offers tumble. In the final dream 2 for the banker of 10p and 1p, Igor bails out for the lowest ever deal of 2p.
SUN 8 JUL 7:15 PMMaria's Game... A nail-biting for Maria. After a good start, yet again a large number goes in the opening round! The banker offers a respectable £8,100, which increases to £15,000 in the following round. It is then that the banker starts playing games, and offers £15! Maria doesn't let these games get to her, and ploughs on. In a dramatic finish, Maria declines an offer of £35,000, and gets a final round offer of £75,000. She takes this, and it proves the perfect decision.
FRI 6 JUL 4:15 PMMike's Game... Another game that gets off to a shakey start, but Mike manages to recover things slightly and the offers slowly rise. Mid-game Mike hits a great all blue round, which bumps the offer right up to £26,000. This gives Mike a very tough decision, which he eventually decides to take. A nail-biting finish sees it a deal too soon, as Mike hits an almost perfect next round. But the final round does eventually take the big money out of the game.
THU 5 JUL 4:15 PMUsha's Game... Yet another game where the big money goes in the very first box! A good run of blues then help to pull things back, but some serious gameplay from the banker holds up the offers as he continually sticks at £7,500. Usha holds out right to the 5th round, but with a very dangerous board takes the offer of £7,500. It proves a great decision in the end.
WED 4 JUL 4:15 PMDan's Game... A BIG American theme to the show today on American Independance Day, all the contestants dressed as cowboys and cowgirls, and American flags draped all around the studio. Unfortunately there are not many fireworks in the game, as yet again the large numbers get taken out early on. This makes it easy for the banker to keep the offers low, and Dan eventually deals for £10,000. It is a win over the banker, in an entertaing game that yet again denies us of big money.
TUE 3 JUL 4:15 PMSophie's Game... A good start for Sophie carries on all through the first 3 rounds, and the banker is forced to steadily increase his offers from £10,000 up to £20,000. With a strong board Sophie ploughs on, but stumbles a little in the next round, giving the banker a chance to lower the offer to £13,500. With a similar next round and an offer of £10,000, Sophie calls it a day. This proves a smart move as things would have carried on downwards.
