John continues the male battle with the banker today, and provides an entertaining game with his Eastend wit. He gets off to a great start, and receives offers of £9,500 and £17,500 in the first 2 rounds. A hiccup in the next round halts things, although a worried banker sticks at £17,500. As the big one goes in the next, the offer tumbles to £7,500, but John ploughs on and is rewarded in the next round with £18,000. This proves enough for John who makes a quick exit, but it proves a move too soon as double his deal was available in the final round.
